We seek a friendly, reliable, and highly motivated individual with strong communication skills who enjoys security work to join the Security Team. As a member of this team, you will make things more secure by protecting system boundaries, keeping computer systems and network devices hardened against attacks and securing sensitive data.  You must be a positive and proactive problem-solver with the ability to think on your feet while providing excellent customer service.˜


  • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement

  • Engineer, monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information

  • Auditing systems for compliance 

  • Develop best practices and security standards/requirements and document standard operating procedures and protocols for the organization

  • Test company software, firmware, and firewalls

  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks

  • Keep current with industry practices and emerging threats 


This position requires flexibility to work additional hours and be on-call when necessary.  In addition, the ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years' experience as a System/Information Security Engineer

  • Certifications such as Security+ or equivalent desired

  • Experience with AWS Infrastructure and their Security systems

  • Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security

  • Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc

  • Understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols

  • Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service-Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols

  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems as they arise

  • Basic coding skills, such as HTML, CSS and other languages

Technical Skills

  • Highly responsive and proven professionalism in communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Strong skills in implementing and configuring security components.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to maintain in-depth knowledge of security and networking infrastructure utilized by the company including the management and reporting of each

  • An understanding of best practices 

  • Ability to prioritize projects
