Job Summary：

The Director of Integration & Software Development Architecture will have responsibility for establishing the strategy for how we integrate in a multi-cloud environment, how we develop software across the enterprise, and provide architectural guidance for addressing complicated technical challenges.

This is a remote position within the United States.

Responsibilities: 

• Principal accountabilities of the role include setting the vision for the future state technology to transform how we enable Trane’s capabilities
• Define enterprise target states and roadmaps around middleware, API’s & microservices, low code, & CI/CD pipelines, incorporating modern components like cloud, AI/ML, & analytics that enable rapid application deployment for Trane
• Research, evaluate, & lead proof of concepts around emerging technologies (like IoT, robotics, VR/AR, blockchain) for applicability, compatibility, and viability
• Research & evaluate new and/or alternative solutions to create new and/or improve existing capabilities to improve our customer & employee experiences, reduce risk, and enhance operational effectiveness
• Define and design the future state reference architecture, standards, & patterns that drive standardization, simplification, reduced time to market, and lower to TCO
• Inform long range & annual planning and govern projects in alignment with architecture direction

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of proven and progressive experience in IT. 
• 8+ years of experience in technology development, architecture, integration & management.
• 5+ years of prior cloud experience.
• Global exposure in a multi-national company is an asset. 
• Experience creating strategies for integration & software development solutions including implementation of processes and techniques.

Base Compensation Range is $125,000 to $232,500 with bonus and equity.  This base salary range is based on US national averages.  Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
