As an Enterprise Program Architect, you will leverage your experience delivering transformational projects to bear as part of the leadership team delivering the most impactful technology initiatives at AEP. You wil be responsible for working with business and technology leaders to understand the desired business outcomes and develop an architectural vision and strategy for a program. This is a leadership role which requires exceptional relationship management, vision, and communication skills.
Work with business and technology leaders to develop and communication an architectural vision and strategy for the program.
Work with Portfolio and Solution Architects to understand current plans and strategies for the existing business solution portfolio.
Develop and maintain current and future state architecture views including business, application, information, and technology.
Oversee execution of the program to ensure alignment with the original architectural vision.
When appropriate, lead business capability mapping exercises.
As needed, work with Portfolio and Solution architects to document current-state architectures and develop enterprise-level technology roadmaps
Requirements**Based on education, experience and interview, the selected candidate's internal job title will be Architect Principal or Architect Staff
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.
Experience: 8 years of relevant work experience is required.
An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Self‐directed and dependable to produce high‐quality work in a timely manner.
