HRIS Analyst - Remote 100%

If this, is you, we encourage you to join the People Service Center in HR as a People Systems Specialist! The People Systems Specialist collects, compiles, and analyzes HR data, metrics, and statistics, and applies these data to make recommendations related to all HR leaders, Centers of Expertise, and business partners. 

The People Systems Specialist is responsible for providing technical control and support for HCM systems. Provides analysis and direction to devise or modify databases and/programs to extract routine and ad hoc reporting for the executive management team such as turnover reporting and human capital metrics and for data integration projects. Responsible for the maintenance and day-to-day administration of HCM systems and related policies and procedures, designed to obtain, record, and update foundational system data. Collaborates with the People Service Center team, HR Management, and internal team members to evaluate, design, and otherwise provide solutions that contribute to the delivery of HR business solutions. 

This position supports data management in various systems for key HR/people data. Recommends, implements, and plans for improvements, enhancements, and new applications to the system. Combines a general knowledge of Human Resources with analytical skills to provide data-driven recommendations and solutions.

This position is 100% remote, however you must reside within driving distance of our offices in Los Angeles or Costa Mesa, CA or Coppell, TX to attend meetings and team collaboration. 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Initiative-taker with a strong sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast paced, complex, and scaling environment.

  • Ability to translate stakeholder's request into actionable reports and / or analysis.

  • Ability to present data in a thoughtful and coherent way based on the audience.

  • Demonstrates ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

  • Advanced proficiency with standard Windows PC software.

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel with knowledge in creation of Pivot tables / charts, creation of charts / graphs, and formulas such as SUMIF / SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, IF / IFERROR and SUMPRODUCT required.

  • 1 - 2 years on the job experience developing, implementing, and modifying internal organizational reporting / analysis required.

  • 1 - 2 years of firsthand experience in Human Resources concepts with exposure to People Analytics, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting and / or Learning Management Systems is strongly preferred.

  • 1 - 2 years of firsthand experience in Workday HCM configuration, advanced / matrix reports, calculated fields, custom objects, and EIBs strongly preferred.

  • 1 - 2 years of firsthand experience in SumTotal LMS or similar LMS with system management and configuration, Learning Management, Talent Management (performance and succession), onboarding, advanced reporting, custom domains, and security and permission across all modules and domains preferred.

Education:

  • BA/BS in a related area such as Human Resources, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
