Remote Healthcare A/R Follow-Up Specialists 

$16-$21/hr. Sign On Bonus! 

Our team assists healthcare providers with remediation of 3rd party accounts receivables, call center support and a variety of revenue cycle outsource capabilities. The Patient Account Representative II will perform more complex account follow-up activities while performing periodic quality audits on Patient Account Representative I staff members. 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Performs second-tier account follow-up activities in accordance with organizational, client, and regulatory guidelines for outstanding insurance receivable including, but not limited to:
    • Performing account follow-up activities on high-dollar accounts receivable
    • Research items requiring further assistance 
  • Identifies and communicates A/R trends, payer behavior, workflow inconsistencies, or other barriers to account resolution 
  • Assists in mentoring new employees including, but not limited to participating in on-the-job shadowing, answering general account resolution related questions, providing quality audits of work performed 
  • Possesses an understanding of healthcare revenue cycle and applies this knowledge to assist team with achievement of quality control standards
  • Contacts third party payors to resolve outstanding account balances 
  • Possesses the ability to professionally communicate with colleagues, payers, and clients (if necessary) 
  • Possesses a cooperative and positive attitude towards clients, management and coworkers and is viewed as being a valued team player 
  • Ability to follow instructions provided and lead other team members to achieve established productivity and quality standards 
  • Ability to multitask in several applications and systems simultaneously in order to complete daily responsibilities 
  • Familiar with the rules involved with handling Protected Health Information (PHI) 
Experience: 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years in Healthcare Provider Revenue Cycle preferred 
  • High School diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • Hands on experience using Epic, Cerner, Invision, Soarian, McKesson, Allscripts and other industry recognized Revenue Cycle Management Systems preferred
