About this role:

Wells Fargo Auto is seeking a Business Execution Consultant to join the Operations Support Team and provide support to the Specialty Operations which includes functions such as repossession, reinstatement & redemption, impounds, re-marketing, after-market servicing, titles, collections, payment support, bankruptcy, disaster, insurance support, and customer service.

The successful candidate for this role will demonstrate the ability to partner broadly with the line of business to achieve success. This role requires the team member with strong relationship management, influencing, product management and delivery skills. The role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement while making decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment.

In this role, you will:
  • Consult and provide guidance on the development, implementation, and monitoring of significant matters regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, business performance improvement opportunities, and helping to manage the risks for the applicable business functions
  • Utilize thorough knowledge of the business unit's functional area or products to support strategic initiatives for the business
  • Responsible for support functions and/or operations/production oversight usually for multiple business groups within a Line of Business
  • Functions supported may include policy/procedure administration and adherence, systems/change initiatives, information security, business continuity planning, capacity planning, legal and regulatory adherence, SLA negotiation/development, reporting and analysis, project funding, pipeline, process improvement, quality management, third party management, communications, financial control/budgeting oversight
  • May present to executive management on business performance and recommends strategies to implement changes and improvements
  • May consult on process execution matters for risk policies/ programs, business process risk/ control assessment at process level
  • May conduct, execute, or manage risk assessments, ad hoc reviews, quality activities, issue intake process, remediation process, and exam management
  • May provide work direction to lower-level staff
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 2+ years of Business Operations or Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Exposure and/or experience working with Scrum and Agile
  • Experience performing root cause analysis
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience presenting information to varying levels of audience - front line employees up to leadership
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
  • Knowledge and understanding of auto lending practices, policies, and procedures is a plus, open to experience within other consumer lending business lines
  • Skilled in exercising independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
  • Expertise to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
  • Experience identifying risk and proposing risk mitigation plans
  • Knowledge and understanding of state, federal, and agency legal and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience to provide leadership by coaching, training, and mentoring
  • Experience identifying third party risks and problem area and recommending standards, policies, and procedures to correct deficiencies and improve overall performance and compliance
  • Experience providing consultation around strategy and participating in projects and initiatives
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
