The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for supporting the Marketing team through operational projects and tasks in the following areas, but not limited to: organizing marketing data in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM), creating various automations to help with marketing efforts, connecting digital campaigns to the CRM, Google Analytics analysis and reporting, various pixel setups.
More About You
- Minimum of 2 years in managing marketing data
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with marketing automation
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
- Must have working knowledge of Salesforce/Pardot
- Pardot experience preferred
- Zapier experience preferred
- Experience with managing numerous external partnerships
What You Will Do
- Effectively manage concurrent projects of varying size and scope across different lanes that Marketing supports
- Manages and organizes the marketing data that goes into the CRM
- Manages the marketing reports and dashboard inside the CRM
- Automates various marketing activities including email, lead scoring, alert creation, pushing prospects to the sales floor, and more
- Manages and makes recommendations about Marketing’s technology stack
- Owns the technical management of Utility Concierge marketing campaigns
- Conducts market research on potential products and compiles customer and referral partner profiles
- Provides insights on how Utility Concierge marketing can be improved through data analysis
- Quickly identifies and remediates issues within the Marketing lane
- Coordinates with the Marketing Director and the Marketing Manager on important projects
- Other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate by management
Key Job Components:
Data analytics:
- Structuring and organizing Salesforce campaign data (proper campaign attribution for individuals so we can see how each campaign initiative is performing from engagement to revenue generation)
- Building reports and dashboards in Salesforce based off of our organized campaign data.
- Analyzing this campaign data and coming up with recommendations for campaign improvement
Coding:
- A basic knowledge of Salesforce's formula editor
Automations:
- An understanding of how to use Process Builder, Email Alerts and Workflow Rules in Salesforce and experience working in them to create automations.
- An understanding of automation best practices (for example, making sure your automation's action makes the record ineligible to go through it a subsequent time)
- Experience in setting up email automations (could be in Salesforce or other applications).
- Preferred experience in working with a marketing automation technology tied to the CRM (Marketing Cloud, Mail Chimp, Marketo, Pardot, etc.)
Compensation:
-
$70,000 - $100,000 (open to negotiations based upon experience)
