Job Description

We have an exceptionally exciting role for a Director, Enterprise Sales Engineering to join our ever growing and dynamic Enterpriseteam! You will report directly to our VP, Enterprise. You will run all sales engineering that includes - outside sales, inside sales, inside sales support, ERAT and SLED Sales, and Agent channel sales.Come help us engage and inform the team that will build the fastest fiber-optic network in America!

As Director, Enterprise Sales Engineering, your duties will include:
  • Manage teamsthat workwith Sales to design, sell, and support solutions to customers utilizing the entire suite of Brightspeed services
  • Work with customers with a consultative approach to understand their business challenges and develop and communicate solutions to address those challenges
  • Manageteams that supportSales and Account teams with pre-sale proposal generation for all Brightspeed solutions including, but not limited to, pricing assistance, equipment design, network, and technical documentation
  • Manageteams that developand articulatevalue statements and network designs to internal and external customers
  • Manageteams that assistin preparing, completing, and presenting all technical designs and paperwork to the Engineering and Service Delivery teams for post-sale hand off during the Project Management and Implementation
  • Manageteams that workwith sales to represent Brightspeed on customer appointments, industry conferences as a subject matter technology expert specializing in network and technology services


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics or similar field
  • Knowledge of technology and telecommunications services, including understanding of networks and network design
  • Understanding of voice, data, and Internet, and network/managed services and underlying technology that delivers those services
  • Analytical skills including financial and business acumen
  • Presentation and negotiation skills
  • Sales and engineering design systems and processes
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to speak with others and convey information effectively

  • Master's Degree in Business, Economics or similar field
  • Telecommunications industry experience
