Job Summary:

We utilize modern stacks and serve millions of sessions a year on our web and mobile apps that translate to significant revenue from our digital channels.

This role reporting into the Director of Architecture, Digital Experience is directly responsible for maintaining, expanding TCP’s digital experience channels from a user experience engineering as well as web analytics perspective. These key functions are crucial for the organization’s digital penetration and footprint. The role has other managers as well as direct reports who work on FE Engineering and Analytics.


Responsibilities

  • The responsibilities of this role overlap with multiple tracks of work, on a day-to-day basis, you could be discussing architectural proposals and advocating for TCP’s benefits from a maintenance perspective or troubleshooting a production issue that is causing loss of revenue.
  • Another day could be working with the product teams or understanding a user journey and capturing it for Analytics reporting.

Qualifications:


  • 10 years of experience working with User experience engineering, front-end engineering roles with focus on modern front-end engineering stacks including mobile apps ( React, React Native)
  • Managed a mixed team of 10-20 developers with an opinion on standard development best practices for a team is required.
  • Recent experience with GraphQL – Apollo preferred
  • Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure as it concerns FE deployments, AWS preferred
  • Retail experience preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of SFCC preferred
  • Knowledge of CMS/DAM setup and operations
  • Working with Product/UX teams
  • Working with other technology teams
  • Significant experience in creating, recreating platforms from scratch
  • Demonstrated understanding of state management
  • Knowledge of scaling Front-end applications at scale
  • Opinionated about front-end patterns, developer productivity
  • Exceptional focus on FE Performance not just Google web vitals
  • Proficiency with web analytics suites, Google analytics strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Google Data studio preferred, not required
  • Understanding of web beacons, pixels and working with the Data layer
  • Understanding of Digital Analytics Reporting and Terms
