Job Details

The Field Application Engineer is responsible for working alongside the sales team to help grow and build Adder business throughout the territory. This is accomplished through pre-sales technical calls with customers, assisting with project designs, on-site visits and other tasks as required to close business.
Responsible for assisting with both pre and post sales technical support. This can take the form of telephone, email or on-site support calls.
Travel to customer locations will sometimes be conducted with a Sales Manager and sometimes independently.
Deep technical understanding of company products and how they are positioned in vertical markets and against competing technologies will be an integral job function.

Based in Northern California, a significant amount of travel is required. The majority of travel would be across Western North America but may include other destinations as required.
  • Developing collaborative relationships with both internal sales team as well as channel partners.
  • Support customer requirements in both pre and post sales.
  • Offer innovative ideas on how to better drive sales and support of company products into both new and existing customer verticals.
  • Positive attitude in all areas, especially when working directly with customers.
  • Deep understanding of all company products and how they are used in customer accounts.
  • Understanding of how company products relate to competing brands and technologies.
