WECT, the #1 station in Wilmington, NC, is ready to welcome a driven full-time Marketing & Creative Services Producer to our award-winning team. This position will fulfill a variety of multimedia functions which include shooting and editing video, writing and conceptualizing projects for commercial clients, station promotions and other station projects.
The successful candidate's responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:
- Conceptualizing, writing, producing, and editing commercials and station promotion for broadcast and digital platforms. - Videography including strong audio and lighting skills- Working collaboratively with other departments on station projects- Engaging the public during station events in a professional setting- Other duties as assigned
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop- Knowledge of production lighting techniques- Proficient with camera gear - Must have strong organizational skills and be skilled at presenting ideas - Excellent written and verbal communication skills- A four-year college degree is preferred or equivalent professional experience- Must be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, both independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment- Time-management skills and day-to-day project flexibility are required, along with a sense of urgency to deliver projects under tight deadlines- Social media marketing experience is a plus
