JOB SUMMARY: Works under general supervision to coordinate projects to ensure homebuilding process is completed in a prompt, effective, and professional manner according to the KBnxt business model. Provides support to all field and office personnel on various projects involving: house files, invoicing, and mail.

  • Centralized Scheduling- Responsible for maintaining all scheduling data into the PCMYLAR system. Distribute PCMYLAR morning reports to necessary KB personnel and vendors by email or fax daily. Update vendor assignment changes in PCMYLAR so reports are distributed to the appropriate vendor.
  • Reports-Maintain and distribute manual reports (i.e. Milestone Report, Daily Status Report, Percentage Report) to essential KB personnel, city inspections. Maintain and update sequence numbers daily. Ensure construction boards are updated and maintained on a regular basis.
  • Obtain/assemble documents required for all electrical and gas lateral orders from the respective utilities. Track/monitor lateral application submission and receipt by respective utilities. Conducts follow-up and research for all utility orders. Prepare check requests for lateral submissions and related disbursements. Order and track temporary power pedestals and generators.
  • Processing Invoices/Administrative Work for Department
  • Coordinate reinspection fees for field personnel including check orders. Maintain a record of fees paid for reinspections and process the necessary back charge to the trade responsible.


  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Associates degree preferred

  • Prior office experience required, including strong computer usage and typing
  • Homebuilding construction or customer service experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Exceptional organizational capability, including the ability to multi-task
  • Strong people skills, including the capability to handle various personalities and develop professional relationships
  • Action oriented, with the drive to complete projects and tasks to successful closure
  • Proven ability of being customer centric by seeking solutions from the customer's perspective
  • Strong verbal & written communication. Pleasant phone voice with proper grammar spoken.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and listening) skills.
  • Strong ability to work within a team-setting, inclusive of other's ideas, and a willingness to cooperate
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

  • Work 8-hour days with flexibility for overtime when necessary
  • Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to potential buyers, trade partners, and coworkers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company
