The Planner is highly analytical, proactive and thrives on a fast-paced environment. They are responsible for driving their business across multiple channels through sales, margin and inventory management. This role has opportunity to make an enormous impact on company growth as well as gain exposure to top management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide and analyze weekly reporting across retail and concession channels that are shared company wide
  • Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities and influence future assortment decisions

· Measure, analyze and report key performance indicators of the business (KPIs)

· Maintain seasonal OTB and lead monthly meetings to discuss in season changes and re-projections

· Work with the Director of Planning and Merchandising team to develop pre-season plans and execute plans and forecasts across retail and concessions channels.

· Ensure that all buy plans roll to top down sales, margin, and inventory targets.

· Manage OTB with category/brand direction and utilizing assortment plans and buying guides to aid the merchants with breadth, depth and size scale

· Partner with Buying Team on analysis for markdown proposals and exit strategies

· Ability to identify and escalate risks/opportunities within their channels/department

· Build and enhance replenishment and inventory management models


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

· 3-4 years of experience in Planning, Buying/Merchandising, or Allocation

· Ability to identify and clearly communicate business opportunities and risks/ analytical and data reasoning

· Expertise in retail math with strong analytical skills/ learning agility

· Strong problem solving and decision-making skills

· Good organization and workload prioritization skills/ detail-orientation and accuracy

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel

· Proven process of improvement and problem solving

· Strong team player/relationship-building

· Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
