Policy Specialist job at The Judge Group, New York

We are searching for a Financial Industry Policy Creator for our client, a very large and prestigious financial institution located in New York.  This 12+ month contract assignment can be 100% REMOTE.

Under general supervision, performs policy and procedure research and analysis for financial institution policy creation. As assigned, formulates and edits core l policies of Bank-wide significance and application, and participates in policy development and revision. Integrates and manages GSCM policy information in both electronic and published formats.

Provides coordination for multiple policy development and related projects, as assigned. Prior experience with Supply Chain Management and Financial Services organization beneficial.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans, designs, and conducts policy and procedure research, using multiple research formats; compiles, organizes, and evaluates information necessary to develop and prepare policy recommendations.
• Provides coordination in the planning, development, and implementation of critical special projects associated with the maintenance and enhancement of the policy web sites and policy SharePoint repository.
• Participates in the creation, implementation, and revision of core policies, utilizing original policy research and analysis, review of other corporate policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

•  5-10 Years of Professional Experience
•  Financial Industry experience preferred
•  Bachelor’s degree or higher
•  Policy Writing Experience in Financial Services organization,
•  Process Mapping
•  Regulatory, and corporate compliance experience.
•  Ability to work remotely
