This position resides in the College of Nursing (CON), office of the Associate Dean for Research (ADR). This position will be primarily post-award focused. The person in this position is responsible for providing study visit support for various College of Nursing faculty members’ research studies. Study visit support includes, but is not limited to providing participant and study site recruitment support, data collection (e.g., administering surveys, focus groups, and interviews, etc.), and maintenance of study databases. This position will support study logistics such as supply ordering and maintaining appropriate petty cash records for participant incentives. This position will also be responsible for managing regulatory compliance for CON faculty’s research studies. Regulatory compliance duties include but are not limited to maintaining appropriate physical and electronic study logs, managing CLARA submissions, and assisting with annual reporting to the IRB. The position will also assist with tasks related to the goals of the ADR office and research mission of the CON. This position will complete other duties as assigned by the Research Program Manager.

(60%) Study Visit and Data Collection Support.
Supports CON research studies by directly assisting CON faculty with recruitment, screening, and enrollment of study participants. Additionally, works with CON faculty Principal Investigators (PIs) to recruit potential study sites and cultivates relationships with collaborators. Participates in data collection including, but not limited to, administering surveys, interviewing participants, and collecting focus group data. Schedules study visits and maintains study visit calendars for each research study. Maintains complete and organized study records. Enters all study data into appropriate data collection forms (e.g., REDCap or other electronic database).Meets and communicates with faculty Principal Investigators (PI) throughout the study period to ensure accuracy and completeness of data collection. Manages all study related supply ordering and record keeping. Collaborates with the CON Business Office to submit purchase requests. Manages participant gift card logs and petty cash accounts.
(30%) Regulatory Support.
Collaborates with CON Principal Investigators (PIs), research staff and clinic staff to manage regulatory requirements specific to each research project or grant. Ensures adherence to all regulatory requirements such as the reporting of serious adverse events in the timeline required by funding agencies and the Institutional Review Board. Participates in manuscript and presentation preparation, as needed. Assists in maintaining SOPs, regulatory binders, and other regulatory documents. Maintains files, records and equipment, as needed.
(10%) ADR Office Support
Assists with CON hosted research activities, including staff meetings and trainings. Assists with annual CON reporting as needed. Completes other duties as delegated by the CON Research Program Manager and Associate Dean for Research.
