Description of Role:

The Administrative Assistant - Sales is responsible for maintaining positive client relations, managing the office, and providing administrative support to the sales team.

This role will work closely with the VP of Sales & Business Development and the National Account Manager.


Key Responsibilities:

·      Manage daily relations with customers (including chasing new orders, reviewing monthly targets, facilitating purchase order and invoicing processes from start to finish)

·      Keep track of open invoices and deductions

·      Handle accounts receivable by following customer payments

·      Monitor and report on monthly inventory

·      General office management including filing, mailing samples, processing office mail, etc.

·      Manage daily relations with freight forwarders, warehouse, French team, and – most importantly – customers.

·      Assist in setting up new customers with samples, marketing materials, paperwork, promotions, etc.

·      Analyze inventory levels, generate KPI/other sales reports

·      Social media & marketing (publish posts, help with presentations, maintain sales sheets, organize food shows, etc.)


Key Requirements & Attributes:

·      Bachelor’s degree in business, i.e. marketing, sales, or an otherwise related field
