LOCATION: Massachusetts

The job of the Staubli Sales Engineer is to gain market share at a profitable level within the assigned sales territory for the products manufactured and sold by Staubli Connectors Division.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing customers to promote long-term partnership, increase our presence in the territory and deliver results
  • Proactive market research, business development and acquisition activity, and submission of ideas and proposals to Regional Sales Manager and Marketing
  • Proficient understanding of the geographical territory, markets, customers, and competitive landscape
  • Provide technical support to customers and manage information flow for more in-depth technical topics in cooperation with Technical Support Specialists
  • Daily work with CRM to maintain up-to-date overview of sales activities, open offers and opportunities, and to update relevant customer information with focus on sales potential
  • Serve as a project manager for all open opportunities to ensure efficient and timely communication of all involved participants and to guarantee customer satisfaction


REQUIREMENTS:

Mechanical Engineering degree preferred

Sales experience in B2B industrial field preferred

Experience in manufacturing environment and/or machine design preferred


SKILLS:

  • Must be a self-starter, working from home and traveling within the local area.
  • Use critical thinking to understand and implement solutions based on customer need.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, CRM
  • Sales skills including budgeting and results reporting
