The Sales Manager will work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing and the Sales Department. As a Sales Manager, you will analyze local market trends and the activity of our competitors. In addition, you will:


What do we expect from you?

  • To keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace, you will recommend strategies.
  • Identify business leads by analyzing competitor activity and local market trends. 
  • Travel within the local area to develop customer accounts and drive business into the specific hotel/cluster, increase market/customer share in all revenue streams. 
  • Be able to negotiate packages, and room rates with corporate clients.
  • Implement, and develop creative local marketing channels including social media. 
  • Prepare company contracts for the hotel with current business and pricing conditions
  • Attend Sales events and activities 
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director including the reporting of appointments, calls made, and business leads
  • Answer inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Manage staff performance, coaching, counseling, and discipline
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff

  • Sales Manager for hotel with 200 rooms plus, along with over 12,000 square feet of meeting space.
  • Passion for sales

  • Able to carry out the physical requirements of this role with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Available to work varying days and shifts as business requires
  • Preferably bilingual but not required
