Ciphertechs is looking to add a full time, energetic, relationship-focused, and goal oriented, Senior Account Manager for our team in New York, NY. This individual will be responsible for growing Ciphertechs’ market share in the New York, NY market through developing and maintaining trusted partnerships with new and existing clients.

The Senior Account Manager will support CipherTechs’ services by focusing on the needs of our clients. This individual must possess a high sense of urgency, be results oriented, self-confident, and have the utmost level of integrity. The ideal candidate should have current customer/client relationships in the IT security industry.


Acquire, lead, and develop accounts in the tri-state area by..

· Generating new business through sales calls, meetings and prospecting of local, medium/large sized businesses and clients within an I.T. Security environment.

· Grow and maintain a strong client referral network

  • Maintain existing client relations and quality of service through regular client visits and communication
  • Be able to consistently convert leads into sales
  • Creation and conducting of effective presentations to C-levels
  • Qualify new leads
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the cybersecurity industry, products, and competitor offerings
  • Engage new clients and manage the contract process with new clients
  • Working closely with active and new clients in acquiring and prioritize client IT security requirements
  • Presenting Qualified candidates to clients and managing the interview process.


  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical field, or Security Industry experience
  • Information Technology Security / Services B2B Sales experience
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed
  • Strong work-ethic and motivation
  • Good decision-making skills
  • Proven track record of B2B sales and new business development, targeting C-Level individuals and their direct reports
  • Exceeding quota sales experience
  • Salesforce experience
  • Contract / SOW creation experience is a plus
  • Very strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Relationship-focused, with excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Experienced throughout entire sales process from prospecting through to placement and post-placement customer service activities within an I.T. Security / Professional Services environment

Able to think "outside the box" in terms of ways of identifying and closing potential customers

Work Remotely

  • Yes with ability to travel to NYC for quarterly meetings
  • Ideal candidate will be located in the NorthEast

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000K-$100,000K per year plus commission
