Dana-co, a leading design company of luxury lingerie, has a new opportunity for a Specialty Account Executive to cover the New York and Northeast Territory.

We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy, analytical, relationship builder with experience as a Buyer, a Sales Representative, or a Retail professional. You will call on our wholesale accounts to grow the market, both developing the current specialty accounts and acquiring new specialty accounts!

Role’s Responsibilities:

• Develop working relationships with specialty store buyers and maintain daily communication regarding orders, shipping updates, and how to continue to drive the business.

• Work strategically and proactively to achieve and exceed seasonal and annual sales targets

• Responsible for setting market appointments, selling the collection, and providing buyers with strong feedback and direction on collections and trends. Subsequently, review and eventually modify orders in line with the company’s strategy. Manage orders from beginning to end.

• Maintain knowledge of sales and market trends within the industry. Provide leadership team with ongoing feedback about competition and collection performance

• Research new potential accounts and territories

• Support ad-hoc requests, special projects, and showroom presentation

Skills and Abilities:

• 1-3 years of experience in wholesale or retail sales and preferable in Intimate Apparel.

• Must be outgoing and have excellent people skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers

• Ability to travel overnight and some road travel required; must have valid driver's license

• A self-starter and ability to excel in a results-oriented position, working independently on multiple projects

• Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment

• Responsible for setting market appointments, selling the collections, and providing buyers with strong feedback and direction on collections and trends

• Extremely strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy, ability to plan ahead

• A background in Intimate apparel is not required but preferred

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written; follows a professional presentation

• Proficient in Excel; V-Lookup, Pivot Tables

• Versatile and flexible; embraces change and is consistently able to develop and adapt to the needs of the business

• Exercises sound judgment and maintains composure with both internal and external partners

• Resourceful, hands-on, and able to sense urgency

• Ability to travel as necessary to meet business needs
