About the job

As part of the Medly Sales Team, you will expand the availability of accessible healthcare by sharing the value and impact of Medly’s services with providers and collaborating to bring these services to their patients. You will be the face of Medly and call on the key decision makers within physician offices. Building strong relationships and driving new providers and accounts to use Medly pharmacy will be the core of your work. After establishing the initial business, you will work closely with cross-functional internal partners, including Inside Sales, Provider Success, Provider Support, and Operations teams to ensure value realization. The field-level insights you collect will be used to inform sales strategy, marketing materials, and product offerings that impact customer experience.

What you’ll do at Medly

  • Prospect new business, identify valuable target providers, and leverage leads from Inside Sales to develop a strategic target list
  • Make initial contact, identify key decision makers (e.g. front office staff, nurses, physicians, etc.) and develop strong relationships
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new-to-Medly accounts and those who are “trialing” Medly, via in-person and remote connects
  • Partner with providers and office staff to understand and best address their clinical needs and pitch a tailored Medly value proposition
  • Close the business and regularly check in on account to ensure successful Rx execution, serving as a liaison between the account and pharmacy operations
  • Onboard Provider Success onto the account once established and collaborate to ensure successful pull through of business; remain informed of account status via Provider Success
  • Position requires employee to be in the field daily (e.g., in-person provider visits) and requires residence within a reasonable driving distance of the assigned territory

Who you are and skills you have

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years professional experience
  • At least 2 years of B2B sales experience, outside medical or pharmaceutical sales experience with a deep understanding of the provider or pharmacy space preferred
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in Specialty Sales: Internal Medicine.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships and engage anyone in any setting
  • Demonstrable sales experience within the medical industry, including excellent selling, persuasive, and presentation skills, and a strong customer focus
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent communication skills with a particular talent for effective and eloquent conversations on medical topics; ability to quickly understand and articulate Medly’s value proposition
  • Self-starter who can maximize their impact by mapping out and executing a high number of daily touchpoints and office visits with sustained energy
  • Organized, fast learner with excellent time management who can quickly understand Medly’s services and processes
  • Ability to read situations quickly and be agile in your approach to problem solving, demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in challenging situations
  • Great listener with natural ability to influence action and a knack for building trust quickly
  • True ambassador to help champion our vision to revolutionize pharmacy and elevate the healthcare experience
  • Competent analytical skills; ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insights
  • Strong understanding of the reimbursement landscape and expertise with managed market pull-through
  • Experience with various sales platforms (Salesforce, Slack, Google Suite, CRM, etc) preferred
