The Accounting Operations and Analysis (AOA) Sr. BA Doc & Training specialist will have full proficiency and understanding of the PeopleSoft ERP system across various user modules (Contracts, Project Costing, Billing, and Revenue). Support the PS ERP business process ensuring all documentation is up to date and best practice is executed across all PeopleSoft ERP users & billing managers.

Analyst scope of work includes working independently or with other business analysts on the team to create procedure documentation related to new functionality or business process changes. Preparing and conducting new hire training and training of new business users being implemented onto the PeopleSoft tool.

Additional responsibilities may include testing (UAT) and supporting short and long term operational / strategic business activities - by developing, enhancing, and maintaining operational systems and process.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures for PS ERP Billing best practices
  • Create and test system functionality documentation as well as business process for enhancements
  • Model business processes (current and future)
  • Provide training on new business process
  • Provide employee training and onboarding guidance
  • Provide training to internal teams and billing managers moving to PS-ERP
  • Test and review created materials
  • Maintain a database of all training strategies, initiatives and materials
  • Communicate training needs to leadership
  • Ability to lead conversations with business partners about the capabilities, functions, and processes of ERP
  • Effectively and confidently communicate with technology & business stakeholders regarding change management and process
  • Perform PeopleSoft ERP functional testing as needed
  • Provide ongoing support to ensure proper implementation and adoption of ERP best practice (Post-deployment support and monitoring of process plans)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Skilled at training and providing guidance to end users
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, time and project management, problem solving, organization, and analysis skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PeopleSoft ERP Experience
  • Experience creating and a maintaining procedure database
  • Experience Developing Training plans
  • Experience training users moving from one financial tool to another

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
