The Sales Representative hired for this position is expected to exhibit a strong understanding of the full sales process and excels at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. This employee acts as the point of contact between SimuQuest and its current and prospective clients covering a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to: identifying and training prospective customers, supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to SimuQuest products and services, and working closely with the SimuQuest team to ensure client needs are met in an efficient manner. 



  • Identifying sales goals through financial reports and industry trends.
  • Identifying and achieving reasonable sales targets with limited supervision.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Tracking all sales activities in the company CRM system in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Creating, documenting, implementing and maintaining internal processes to prospect and qualify new sales leads.
  • Maintaining a well-developed pipeline of sales leads.
  • Being accountable for delivering on the sale.
  • Acting as the client interface for the organization to our clients.
  • Developing proposals for pilot studies.
  • Preparing, coordinating, and conducting client onboarding meetings and presentations regarding company updates, issues, project statuses, new features, and company products.
  • Identifying and thoroughly communicating value propositions with the potential client’s decision makers.
  • Communicating all new orders, change orders, client issues, alterations to project scope, etc. in a timely manner with the appropriate members of SimuQuest staff.
  • Conducting the hand-off for client quotes, then communicating and coordinating follow-up steps with SimuQuest staff to ensure timely and efficient product implementations.
  • Working in conjunction with other employees (technical services) to prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients.   
  • Proactively problem-solving to ensure client satisfaction with SimuQuest services.
  • Troubleshooting and offering solutions that are narrowly focused and technically strong regarding embedded software processes.
  • Developing and maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers.


  • Bachelor degree in sales, business, software engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years in Technical Software Sales with demonstrated success in embedded software tools and products sales.
  • Experience understanding and communicating technical software development processes.
  • Knowledge of the full Sales process and various methodologies (i.e. Sandler, Challenger, etc.)
  • Ability to confidently present technical concepts in an easy to understand, engaging manner.
  • Self-starter who can work well in a small company environment, with limited resources and organizational infrastructure.

This is a full-time position, eligible for bonuses and full benefits (PTO, medical, dental, vision, SIMPLE IRA with 3% company matching).
