Vendor Contract Specialist job at Medline Industries, Inc., Northfield

Medline has an opportunity for a Vendor Contract Specialist based out of our Northfield, IL Corporate office! The position will operate on a flexible hybrid work model. The Vendor Contract Specialist implements and maintains contract pricing for prime vendor and non-prime vendor accounts for branded products. They communicate all aspects concerning fulfillment of contractual obligations with contracting parties.

• Create all necessary contracts, added items and make any appropriate changes, such as pricing and end dates under general and direct guidance.
• Create and maintain non- contracted pricing for prime vendor and non-prime vendor accounts.
• Work expiring contracts, contact vendors for updates; make necessary system adjustments.
• Resolve rebate discrepancies. Work and coordinate with Rebate team.
• Contact vendors to obtain contract pricing and tier eligibility.
• Research and resolve pricing questions submitted by customers, DSMs and representatives.

Relevant Work Experience

• Experience providing customer service to internal and/or external customers including meeting quality standards for services.

Additional

• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).

Relevant Work Experience

• Previous customer service experience in the medical device industry.
• Customer service experience in a high call volume environment.
• SAP, Vistex and/or AS400 experience.
