Job Skills / Requirements
As a designer at TEAM, you'll be responsible for designing quality features and products that help our customers. You'll get to know the market and customers we serve and work together with product managers and business stakeholders to refine concepts into high-fidelity designs. You'll also be a contributor to the growing design practice at TEAM, helping us to refine our processes and build a better design environment.
Currently, the design team is hard at work on an initiative to modernize and unify our product suite to better serve our global customer base. As a member of this team, you will have a significant role in the next generation of TEAM software products.
Furthermore, design at TEAM is a young but fast growing facet of the Product Team. You will play a key role in the development of design culture within the company.
We expect that you:
· Thrive in a self-directed environment
· Are excited about talking to users and understanding their needs
· Are comfortable conducting your own usability testing
· Understand that design lives in a balance with business viability and technical feasibility and this factors into every product decision
· Rapidly prototype your ideas and know when to use low and high fidelity to communicate concepts
· Can get objective about design, articulating goals of a design and how your decisions meet both user and business goals.
· Will be a champion of design practice within TEAM, articulating the benefits that good design provides to both the business and customer.
· 2+ Years of User Experience or Product design
· Comfortable integrating into an Agile team
