What you'll do

  • Drive and own the vision and strategy of quality assurance at Autosoft 
  • Drive a quality culture, by helping cross-functional teams adopt the right quality practices throughout the lifecycle 
  • Expose change impacts in minutes with advanced, resilient test automation that's built for DevOps and cloud speed 
  • Modernize quality tools, testing approaches, and skillsets of team 
  • Accelerate release cycles by orchestrating and scaling testing efforts across teams, projects, applications, and tools 
  • Produce, maintain, and radiate quality metrics that help expose and reduce risks 
  • Drive excellence in execution 
  • Nurture a culture that enables everyone to deliver their best work 
  • Assess your talent needs, recruit, and hire exceptional talent, without compromise 

What you need to get the job done

  • Hands-on software development experience is required 
  • Experience with Continuous Testing that occurs throughout the SDLC
  • Experience monitoring production to loop feedback into the SDLC from a quality perspective 
  • Experience leading distributed team members  
  • People leadership experience (culture, one on ones, relationship, etc.) 
  • Project leadership experience (roadmap, backlog, priorities, deadlines, etc.) 
  • Talent leadership experience (staffing, allocation, hiring, onboarding, etc.) 
  • Great engineering leaders can lead around any tech stack 
  • Diversity of experience as an engineering/QA manager is valued (teams and companies) 
  • Driving results in a cloud-native software shop are valued
