Remote Senior iOS Engineer (USA Only, 100% Remote) job at The Agile Monkeys

What we are looking for

We are looking for pragmatic, proactive upper-intermediate, senior, or lead iOS developers based in the US (for legal reasons) who love to write clean and high-quality code in Swift/Objective-C, are comfortable using UIKit, like looking for creative solutions, and understand the product side.

If you aren’t familiar with those technical tools or languages, but you have knowledge or expertise using something similar, don’t hesitate to apply. Energy and capacity are much more important to us than experience or even knowledge. From our perspective, we strongly believe that smart and energetic people can acquire those.

Technical requirements

It is not about having a lot of years of experience, but we want someone who doesn’t need to learn everything from scratch and comes prepared with thoughts and ideas to:
  • Swift programming language.
  • Objective-C.
  • UIKit.
  • SwiftUI is a plus.

You could be a good fit if you are a person who

  • Is an upper-intermediate, senior or lead software engineer/developer.
  • Loves to be proactive and pragmatic.
  • Is passionate about the product side, not just coding.
  • Is a good team player.
  • Likes the remote environment. We are a remote-first company.
  • Takes ownership of the tasks and doesn't want to be controlled (self-driven).
  • Communicates very well in English, with both technical and non-technical people.
  • Understands the importance of soft-skills.

Years of experience required

We do not believe that years of experience make you more qualified for the position. We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate some knowledge and experience in the areas mentioned above.

Offer (salary)

Negotiable. We want to have people who are happy and satisfied with the income they earn. Let's start there.

The job is remote, but must be located in the USA because of legal reasons.
