Position Summary:
- As a Housekeeper, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms. Your attention to detail and dedication to service ensure every guest enjoys a welcoming and memorable stay at Sand Valley.
What You’ll Do
- Clean guestrooms and residences to resort standards.
- Change linens, make beds, and restock towels, amenities, and supplies.
- Sanitize bathrooms (fixtures, tubs, showers, tiles).
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and clean surfaces, mirrors, windows, walls.
- Inspect lighting, drapes, HVAC units; report maintenance issues.
- Replenish housekeeping carts, caddies, and storage rooms.
- Confirm rooms are guest-ready; report safety or maintenance concerns.
- Wash, dry, and fold linens/towels as assigned.
- Assist teammates and perform related tasks as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Prior hotel or resort housekeeping experience (preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks independently
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts through the end of October.
- Comfortable working primarily indoors, moving between buildings in various weather conditions, and safely handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
- Stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and kneel for extended periods (up to 5 hours).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance; frequently lift 20 lbs and occasionally 30 lbs.
