Share this job SVGs not supported by this browser. Description Accord is seeking a mission-driven Senior Accountant to support the Vice President of Finance and serve as a lead on the Finance Team. The Senior Accountant will maintain the integrity and validity of all financial data. This is a hybrid role (minimum two days in office per week) located in Midway St. Paul, MN. If our vision matches yours, we hope you consider joining us. The Senior Accountant will: Maintain all general ledger accounts. Conduct monthly and year-end closing procedures and reconcile balance sheet and bank statements. Prepare schedules and work with the Controller to complete the annual audit as well as any other finance monitoring reviews. Forecast and analyze financial status with other internal stakeholders. Maintain fixed asset inventory and depreciation schedules. Manage the housing functionâs accounting, including but not limited to: recording monthly rent, preparing monthly rent statements, and participating in bi-weekly housing meetings. Prepare and submit monthly contract invoicing. Administrate Finance software solution, including integrations between ERP and FP&A software. Support accounts payable as needed. Review and record lockbox cash receipts. Requirements Preferred Qualification: Certified Public Accountant or Financial Planning and Analysis certification. Experience in Nonprofit accounting. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to financial detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain financial reports. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team in sharing information and completing work.
