YOUR ROLE The Brand Activations Manager is responsible for bringing the Stio brand to life through real life events, sponsorship activations and immersive experiences that drive awareness, community engagement and deeper connections with consumers. By representing a mountain lifestyle brand, you will reach our core customer in iconic mountain towns across the country, while strategically expanding our footprint in growth markets. This role is critical in identifying how to reach our target audience by activating the brand at select events across the country. This role isn’t just about being present, it’s about creating compelling brand experiences that resonate with the mountain life and uphold our commitment to stewardship.. You’ll own the full lifecycle of our events. This means driving the vision in the office, then shifting gears to lead the charge on the ground—managing resources and connecting authentically with our community in the field. This position is part of the brand marketing team and will work closely with art, wholesale and retail teams. The Brand Activations Manager will report to the Sr. Director, Brand Marketing. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Drive and execute the strategy, managing the annual activation calendar to support overall marketing initiatives Excellent project management skills with a deep understanding of the logistics involved in executing at least one event activation a month Design, plan and execute brand activation campaigns at consumer events and retail locations ensuring all physical build-outs reflect the Stio brand Identify and execute opportunities to drive on-site sales and new customer acquisition Manage budget, accurately forecasting and managing costs related to events Identify a strategic pipeline of potential events, and optimize where, when and how we show up in the marketplace Act as the lead producer on-site, managing staff and logistics Serve as primary brand ambassador, building real world connections with our customers Work with social media and content teams to generate, capture and promote content from events Own the creative brief process for activation assets, working closely with the art team to ensure all marketing collateral meets Stio brand standards Responsible for regular reporting on impact and effectiveness of activation investment Additional responsibilities as necessary YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 2-5 years of experience in brand management, experiential marketing or retail, ideally within the outdoor and lifestyle industry Bachelor's degree or greater preferred Must be located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope and timeline Excellent project management skills with proven ability to handle complex projects from ideation to on-site execute Exceptional interpersonal skills Ability to communicate internally, drive strategy and influence teams at every level of seniority Ability to interpret data and consumer insights to refine strategies Proficient writer, copy proofer and editor with excellent attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google products Asana work collaboration experience would be a bonus A deep, personal connection to the mountain lifestyle; you don’t just talk about the gear, – you use it. The base salary range for this role is $60,000-$75,000. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of the range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors including experience, skills, and qualifications.
