About the program
Our Advisory capability is seeking qualified, entry-level candidates to join as healthcare consulting Associates in July 2026.
Associates begin their tenure at Avalere Health through our Advisory Associate Program, a structured introduction to healthcare consulting designed to support learning, development, and early career growth. During the initial phase, Associates engage in meaningful project work across Advisory’s practice areas, while building core consulting and technical skills. The Associate role is designed for recent graduates and early career candidates who are motivated to build a long-term consulting career in healthcare.
Associates gain a wealth of hands-on healthcare consulting experience while honing their research, writing, and project management skills during the 6-month program. Associates will regularly participate in content delivery and Avalere Health-specific trainings, while receiving informal mentorship and career guidance. After successful completion of the program, Associates transition into a permanent role within one of our three content delivery Practices – Policy, Market Access, or Evidence & Strategy – to specialize, develop, and grow their consulting careers.
About the practices
Policy
We rely on deep subject matter expertise and understanding of the business issues facing our clients to assess how the changing policy landscape impacts the pharmaceutical industry, managed care plans, providers, and patients. We provide analytic support and advisory services, including regulatory analysis, evidence generation/review support, policy analysis, legislative strategy, and modelling of proposed and enacted policies to a wide range of clients across the healthcare industry, using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Market Access
We help clients optimize coverage, coding, payment, pricing/contracting, distribution, and patient support across commercial and public payers. We assess how products fit within an evolving reimbursement and policy landscape and build strategic and tactical plans that reduce access barriers and drive uptake by payers, providers, and patients.
Evidence & Strategy
We support life sciences companies, health plans, and providers by providing consultation, evidence, and insights on key aspects of healthcare – including patient-centric HEOR, quality of care measures, shared decision-making, value-based care, and health equity – to shape strategy for our clients. Our work is focused on 3 intersecting strategic pillars: Patient-Centric Value, Evidence & Analytics, and Healthcare Strategy.
