Share this job SVGs not supported by this browser. Description Serves as the coordinator of industrial design projects related to the Community as Lab programs. Acts as a liaison with homelife and the school to include residents in the community projects. Coordinates asset management, equipment maintenance, and inventory activities. Performs office and field work related to the management of property accountability and control. Requirements A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required. A Bachelorâs degree in a related field is preferred. 3-5 yearsâ experience with woodworking and woodshop management is required. Additional experience in industrial or fine arts is preferred, such as: metal forming, construction, graphic art, pottery/ceramics, textiles or other related experience. Must have experience teaching and/or facilitating projects with youth. Must have experience in development, management, and execution of industrial arts projects. Must have experience with or be willing to learn new technologies such as: Computer Numerical Control (CNC), graphic design, and 3D printing. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and related software is required. Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, prolonged sitting/standing Must possess a valid Texas driverâs license. Must be available for travel as needed.
