Family healing starts at OASIS. _________________________________________________________________ Full time | Benefits | $ DOE + bonus | M-F, some weekends if needed Located in Provo, Utah _________________________________________________________________ Oasis Ascent is a short-term residential treatment program for teenagers located in Provo, Utah. The families we serve are in crisis and need support keeping their children safe right now . At Oasis Ascent, we provide thorough assessment, around-the-clock secure care, and intensive support to young men and women. We are a safe setting for adolescents to stabilize while they and their families meet with licensed clinicians to determine the underlying causes of distress and what next steps make the most sense for their needs. The Staff Coordinator at OASIS is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the staff team to ensure efficient and effective operations within the facility. This role involves managing schedules, providing guidance and support to staff members, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for residents. The Staff Coordinator plays a crucial role in promoting positive interactions, teamwork, and adherence to policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Resident Support and Advocacy: Work closely with the resident care team to ensure individualized treatment plans are implemented effectively. Support staff in providing direct care to residents, assisting with crisis intervention, and managing challenging behaviors. Foster a therapeutic environment by promoting positive interactions, conflict resolution, and emotional support. Staff Coordination and Supervision: Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts. May include supervision of Shifts during transition times. Assign duties and responsibilities to staff members based on their skills and expertise. Provide supervision, guidance, and support to staff, promoting professional development and growth. Conduct regular Supervisor meetings to disseminate information, discuss concerns, and facilitate collaboration Staff Training and Development: Coordinate and facilitate staff training programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Assess staff training needs and develop training plans to enhance skills and knowledge. Implement performance evaluation processes, providing feedback, and identifying areas for improvement. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the staff team. Annual review of Residential Handbook Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between staff, management, and other departments at OASIS. Ensure effective communication of policies, procedures, and changes to staff members. Collaborate with other coordinators and departments to streamline operations and improve resident care. Address and resolve conflicts or concerns among staff members in a fair and constructive manner. Works closely with Student Life Coordinator Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents and staff, following safety protocols and emergency procedures. Monitor and ensure staff compliance with regulatory standards, facility policies, and legal requirements. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential safety risks or violations. Assist in the development and implementation of protocols to mitigate risks and maintain a high standard of care. Requirements Please ensure your resume includes education, work experience, certifications, and licenses 21+ years of age Professional experience in a residential treatment program (12+ months preferred) Able to pass criminal investigation background check Able to pass a pre-employment and periodic drug screening Able to pass motor vehicle record check Current Utah driver's license (within 30 days of employment) 1st Aid & CPR certified (we may provide) AEGIS Certified (we may provide) Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (preferred). Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and teamwork.
