Description BARTENDER, ORION AMPHITHEATER ROLE: Bartender, The Orion Amphitheater LOCATION: Huntsville, AL REPORTS TO: F&B Management Team POSITION: Part-Time POSITION SUMMARY The Bartender at The Orion Amphitheater is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role combines expert drink preparation with outstanding customer service to enhance the overall concert and event experience. Bartenders will mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintain clean and organized bar areas, manage transactions accurately, and uphold all state and venue alcohol service regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and alcohol service regulations Deliver excellent guest service with efficiency, professionalism, and a positive attitude Follow all sanitation, safety, and hygiene standards established by the company Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all beverages and menu items offered at The Orion Accurately answer guest questions about drink ingredients and preparation methods Promote featured drinks and menu specials, making recommendations Prepare beverages according to The Orion’s standard recipes and presentation guidelines Complete assigned side work and cleaning duties as directed Follow all end-of-shift and checkout procedures accurately Support a collaborative team environment by assisting coworkers as needed Uphold The Orion’s guest service philosophy and maintain a welcoming, engaging bar atmosphere Perform additional support tasks as requested by supervisors or management PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & PREREQUISITES Ability to read and communicate clearly and effectively Two years of hospitality experience preferred but not required Ability to lift up to 15 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest satisfaction Must be efficient and accurate with point of sale systems Must maintain a professional approach to their job and guest service at all times ABOUT THE ORION The Orion Amphitheater | Huntsville, Alabama Opened in 2022, The Orion Amphitheater is an 8,000-capacity destination venue redefining what it means to be a music venue in the South.
