Location : Suffolk, VA (On-Site) Schedule : Full-Time Pay Rate : $26–$30/hour (based on experience) Employment Type : Full-Time Overview Ace Handyman Services is seeking a highly skilled and professional Home Services Craftsman to join our growing team in Suffolk, VA. This role is ideal for an experienced handyman or carpenter who enjoys working independently while still being part of a supportive and winning team. You’ll handle a variety of residential repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects, delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Complete residential handyman and remodeling projects with strong attention to quality and detail Perform carpentry tasks including trim work, finishing, and general repairs Handle drywall, painting, tile work, and general home maintenance tasks Perform light plumbing and light electrical work when required Wrap fascia and trim using metal brake tools Communicate professionally with customers regarding project scope and progress Work independently while collaborating with the broader team when needed Maintain professional standards of workmanship and job site safety Requirements 5 years of experience in home services, residential remodeling, and multiple home service trades Comfortable completing a pre-employment background check if hired Own reliable work vehicle (truck or van) Skilled carpenter with experience braking metal for fascia and trim wrapping Strong general handyman abilities including carpentry, drywall, light plumbing/electrical, tile, and painting Professional, punctual, and committed to delivering quality work Strong communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently while also contributing to a team environment Nice to Have Experience with ServiceTitan is a major plus Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) Retirement Plan Tool Allowance No Weekend Work Growth Opportunities Pay Reviews Trip Charges Bonus Opportunities Consistent year-round work Apply for this job
