Location: Delray Beach, FL (On-Site) Address: 14095 U.S. 441, Delray Beach, FL Schedule: Full-Time Employment Type: Permanent Pay Rate: $100,000 â $130,000 per year Overview The SQL Developer Business Analyst plays a central role in designing, developing, and optimizing the data systems that support Pero Family Farmsâ continued growth. This position blends SQL development, data modeling, analytics, cloud solutions, and business application administration to ensure teams across the organization have accurate, actionable information. This role is ideal for a technical problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of data, systems, and business operations, supporting enterprise applications, large-scale datasets, and cross-functional initiatives. Responsibilities SQL Development Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions Build and maintain SSIS packages to automate data workflows and processes Ensure efficient and scalable data handling to support daily business operations Business Application Administration Administer and maintain core business applications to ensure data integrity and performance Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and enhance application functionality Troubleshoot application issues and drive continuous improvement Data Modeling & Solution Architecture Architect and design robust data models using Entity-Relationship (ER) diagrams Develop scalable solutions leveraging cloud services and big data integrations Ensure data structures support both operational efficiency and long-term growth Big Data & Cloud Technologies Leverage big data platforms to process large datasets and extract insights Utilize Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Snowflake to design and manage cloud-based solutions Support data lake and big data initiatives API Development & Integration Leverage and manage APIs to integrate data across systems and applications Ensure secure and seamless data exchange between platforms Data Science & Analytics Apply data science techniques for analysis, statistical modeling, and predictive insights Use Python or similar languages for data manipulation, reporting, and automation Deliver clear reporting to technical and non-technical stakeholders Business Analysis & Data Management Gather and document business requirements from operational and corporate teams Use SQL to extract, analyze, and interpret data for decision-making Partner with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and integrity Database Administration Assist with SQL Server administration, including performance tuning and monitoring Support backup, recovery, and compliance with security and regulatory standards Contribute to improved database reliability and uptime Requirements Must Have Qualifications Knowledge of both SQL Server and Oracle SQL Experience building SSIS packages using Visual Studio Experience using an Azure-based GitHub repository Experience working with a multi-server SQL deployment model Experience using the SSMS SSISDB database to manage an SSIS package portfolio Education Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field Experience 5+ years of SQL development experience with hands-on SSIS package development Experience with business application administration, system integrations, and data modeling Technical & Professional Skills Strong SQL and database design proficiency Familiarity with Azure, AWS, and Snowflake Working knowledge of big data platforms and data lake architectures Python or similar programming experience for automation and analytics Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Benefits Paid Time Off 401(k) Retirement Plan Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Travel Reimbursement Growth and Advancement Opportunities Apply for this job
