Location: Veterans Affairs (Gainesville, FL)
Schedule:
Clinic: 8:00a – 4:30p, Monday – Friday
Call: Shared; 24/7
Key Responsibilities:
Imaging & Clinical Support: Perform procedures including heart-lung machine operation, membrane oxygenation, and left/right heart bypass.
Specialized Equipment Operation: Operate intra-aortic balloon pumping and centrifugal ventricular assist devices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Allied Health Education Program School of Perfusion Technology.
Certification: Must be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP).
Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of experience and a minimum of 1,000 clinical cases performed.
Licensure: Must hold a current, full, and unrestricted license in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States.
Life Support: Must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS)
