SUMMARY: The hourly Special Education Paraprofessional pay rate to work on assignment with Capital Area Intermediate Unit is $22.00/hour 5 days of Paid Time Off (prorated based on hire date) OPENING: Location: Future Ready Work Immersion Program , 6340 Flank Dr #600, Harrisburg, PA 17112 Will provide direct support to high schoolâaged students within community settings and on job sites, including delivering job coaching and workplace skill development Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch break Paraprofessionals will work on student days following the academic calendar year Requirements EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma required. For Title I positions - Must pass for "highly qualified" as mandated by NCLB Associates or Bachelors Degree - preferred Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred CREDENTIALING : (Clearances current within 12 months) PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance PA Department of Education FBI â Use code 1KG6XN TB Screening - current within 3 months Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts Benefits Employees scheduled for 30+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits Employer paid medical base plan!
