Description Job Purpose The Logistics Intern supports the logistics and supply chain team with day-to-day operations, including inventory management, data analysis, shipping coordination, and documentation. This role provides hands-on experience in logistics processes, warehouse operations, procurement support, and systems evaluation. The intern will gain practical exposure to workflow optimization and supply chain best practices. Key Responsibilities Operational Support Assist in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments. Update and maintain logistics databases, trackers, and delivery schedules. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock counts and reconciliation. Help prepare shipping documents (e.g., packing lists, delivery notes, waybills). Data and Reporting Compile logistics performance reports (e.g., delivery times, transport costs). Analyze data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Support the team with data entry into ERP or inventory management systems. Warehouse and In Inventory Participate in warehouse operations such as labeling, sorting, and stock organization. Assist with cycle counts and stock audits. Document discrepancies and follow up with relevant teams. Supplier & Transport Coordination Communicate with transporters, suppliers, and internal teams. Support procurement activities such as requesting quotes and comparing suppliers. Track shipments and provide updates to stakeholders. Administrative Tasks File and maintain logistics documents. Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and assist with logistics planning tasks.
