Essential Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
Interview and examine patients, review past medical history and request and/or perform diagnostic tests and examinations as necessary to make diagnosis for primary care services. They make diagnosis after evaluating information obtained and provide medical or surgical treatment and/or referral as appropriate.
Provide health care services, for the entire Period of Performance at the Quentin Burdick Memorial Healthcare Facility. The physician shall schedule and perform procedures as appropriate.
Counsel and educate patients, families, community, and medical staff about general health care.
Be able to do both non emergent and emergent surgical procedures within their requested scope of privileges.
Prescribe drugs and tests necessary to provide care including the use of radiology and laboratory.
Requirements:
Possess a current, unrestricted state medical license from any of the 50 United States
Be board-certified, or board eligible: American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Possess current BLS, PALS, ACLS, ATLS
