Role tasks and responsibilities Professional Skills: ï½ Assist in the development and management of the teamâs forensic technologies service offerings and capabilities. ï½ Play a supporting role in the management of complex fraud and corruption investigations, particularly those involving the use of forensic technologies. ï½ Be prepared to share knowledge and expertise with fellow team members and other colleagues. ï½ Staying up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the digital forensics and eDiscovery space. Conduct research to improve methodologies and workflows. ï½ Develop client-facing consultancy skills. Digital Forensics: ï½ Consult and understand the requirements of clients in relation to digital forensics engagements. ï½ Conduct forensic acquisitions of computers, mobile devices, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems while maintaining proper and defensible chain of custody documentation. ï½ Prepare electronically stored information for eDiscovery processing by performing data extraction from standard image formats to more complex data conversions. ï½ Analyse digital evidence using industry-standard forensic tools, including but not limited to EnCase, Cellebrite, Magnet Axiom, Oxygen Forensics, and Kali Linux. ï½ Prepare detailed forensic reports and expert-ready documentation. eDiscovery: ï½ Managing and delivering all aspects of eDiscovery projects, from initial scoping and data collection to processing, review, and production of electronic evidence. ï½ Advising clients on best practices for data preservation, collection, and litigation readiness, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards. ï½ Utilise industry-leading eDiscovery platforms and tools to support efficient document review, analysis, and reporting. ï½ Coordinating with legal teams, IT departments, and external vendors to ensure seamless project delivery and timely completion of milestones. ï½ Conducting data analysis, early case assessment, and assisting with the identification of key documents and custodians. ï½ Drafting project documentation, including protocols, status updates, and final reports for clients and internal stakeholders. Business development: ï½ Take a proactive role in the companyâs business development activities including attending marketing events and working with the marketing team. ï½ Generate and execute opportunities for potential profile-raising activities across a variety of media. ï½ Update the team on latest industry trends, technologies, and topics of discussion. ï½ Ability to travel to other countries to meet the requirements of our local, regional and global clients. Requirements Knowledge and experience ï½ At least three to five years of experience, depending on entry level. ï½ Extensive knowledge in computer (or IT) forensic and data analytics software within the context of conducting investigations. ï½ Understanding and working knowledge of the eDiscovery workflow, spanning data collection through production. ï½ Thorough understanding of standard evidence handling procedures. ï½ General knowledge of fraud, corruption, and compliance issues. ï½ Creative problem-solving skills to proactively address client needs. ï½ Flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities during the course of investigations. ï½ Excellent analytical, presentation and reporting skills. ï½ Willingness and ability to travel, even at short notice. ï½ English language skills. Mandarin is advantageous. Qualifications and specialist skills ï½ University degree level qualification in Information Technology, Computer Forensics, or relevant field. ï½ 3 to 5 yearsâ experience in Digital Forensics and/or eDiscovery with relevant certifications. ï½ Cyber IR skills an advantage. ï½ Relativity Certifications. Relativity Certified Administrator is advantageous. ï½ Experience with Encase, FTK, Nuix, Magnet Axiom, Cellebrite, and knowledge of Relativity. Apply for this job
